AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO THE LIST OF
STOP AND YIELD INTERSECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11. 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
. Section 11.32 . 030 the following:
Highland Springs Drive. All vehicles being
operated on Highland Springs Drive must stop at
Highland Avenue before crossing or entering the same.
Clearwater Drive. All vehicles being operated
on Clearwater Drive must stop at Royal Boulevard
before crossing or entering the same.
Section 2 . That Title 11, Chapter 11. 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of yield intersections under
Section 11 . 32 .040 the following:
Elizabeth Street, northbound and southbound, at
Elgin Avenue.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and publication in
pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
