AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO THE LIST OF
STOP INTERSECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That Title 11, Chapter 11 . 32 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further
amended by adding to the list of stop intersections under
Section 11 . 32 . 030 the following:
Billings Street. All vehicles being operated on
Billings Street must stop at Washburn Street before
crossing or entering the same.
DuPage Street. All vehicles being- operated on
DuPage Street must stop at Warwick Place before
crossing or entering the same.
Griswold Street. All vehicles being operated on
Griswold Street must stop at Oak Street before
�• crossing or entering the same.
Erie Street. All vehicles being operated on
Erie Street must stop at Jane Drive before crossing
or entering the same.
Oak Street. All vehicles being operated on Oak
Street must stop at Griswold Street before crossing
or entering the same.
Standish Street. All vehicles being operated on
Standish Street must stop at Woodward Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Warwick Place. All vehicles being operated on
Warwick Place must stop at DuPage Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Washburn Street. All vehicles being operated on
Washburn Street must stop at Billings Street before
crossing or entering the same.
Woodward Street. All vehicles being operated on
Woodward Street must stop at Standish Street before
crossing or entering the same.
eft Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and are
hereby repealed.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect ten days after its passage and publication in
pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
