G26-90 Ordinance No. G26-90 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11.60 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, TO LIMIT THE PARKING OF VEHICLES AND TRAILERS ON PUBLIC STREETS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section I. That Section 11.60.130 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, be and is hereby amended to read as follows: "11.60.130 Parking of commercial vehicles, trailers or truck tractors restricted. a. No commercial vehicle, trailer or truck tractor with a gross vehicle weight or registered weight of 8,000 lbs. or more shall be permitted to be parked on any public street for a longer period than two (2) hours. b. No trailer of any kind shall be permitted to be parked on any public street for a longer period than two (2) hours. This restriction includes, but is not limited to, boat trailers, campers, pop-ups, trailer coaches, semi-trailers, travel trailers, utility trailers, and every other vehicle without motive power design for carrying persons or property on its own structure which is designed or intended to be drawn by a vehicle with motive power." Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provi- sions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed. Section 3.
