AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN SWIMMING POOL REGULATIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section I. That Title 6, Chapter 6.66 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as
amended, be and is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"6.65.020 Adoption of state regulations.
The Minimum Sanitary Requirements for the Design and Operation of
Swimming Pools and Bathing Beaches, 1987 Edition, is adopted as the
regulations governing swimming pool operation and maintenance
procedures."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provi-
sions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication form in the manner provided by law.
