AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 3.24 OF THE ELGIN MUNICIPAL CODE, 1976, AS AMENDED,
ENTITLED "BEAUTIFICATION COMMISSION"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section I. That Section 3.24.010 of Chapter 3.24 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended to read as follows:
ELGIN IMAGE ADVISORY COMMISSION
3.24.010 Creation.
There is created a image advisory commission entitled the Elgin
Image Advisory Commission composed of twelve members to be appointed
by the mayor with the advice and consent of the city council. Each
member shall serve for a term of three years. Terms shall expire on May
1st of the year of the termination. The mayor shall designate the chairman
of the commission from among the members thereof.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provi-
sions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication in the manner provided by law.
