AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING CERTAIN ACTIVITIES WITHIN PUBLIC PARKS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section I. That Title 12, Chapter 12.08 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as
amended, be and is hereby further amended by adding to the list of prohibited activities
within public parks under Section 12.08.010 the following:
R. No person shall hit any regulation golf ball within any public park
except in designated areas.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provi-
sions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its
passage and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
