AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR THE COMPOSITION OF THE LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section I. That Section 6.06.020B of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
B. The commission shall be composed of three members and shall
include the mayor and two councilmen. The mayor shall serve as chairman
of the commission. From and after May I, 1988, one councilman term shall
be for one year and the other councilman term shall be for two years;
thereafter all councilman terms shall be two years.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage in
the manner provided by law.
