AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G 11-88 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A
PAY PLAN FOR CERTAIN APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. G 11-88 entitled "An Ordinance Establishing a Pay
Plan for Certain Appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Elgin" passed
January 29, 1988, be and is hereby amended by amending Section 3 to read as follows:
"Section 3. As a further incentive for continued satisfactory
employee performance, each employee who has not received the entire
amount of any increase in a pay range and step effected by the passage of
this ordinance, may receive the unpaid difference not later than the last
payroll period for the current fiscal year."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provi-
sions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
