G9-85 Ordinance No. G9-85 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR A COMMUNITY SERVICE FACILITY WHEREAS, written application has been made for a special use for the establish- ment, maintenance and operation of a Community Service Facility at 515 West Highland Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Land Use Committee conducted a public hearing after due notice by publication and has submitted its findings of fact and recommended approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elgin concurs in the findings and recom- mendation of the Land Use Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section I . That the City Council of the City of Elgin hereby adopts the findings of fact made by the Elgin Land Use Committee, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as Exhibit A. Section 2. That a special use for Community Service Facility at 515 West Highland Avenue, Elgin, Illinois, legally described as follows: That part of Lot 2 in Block I of Hawkins and Peck's Addition to Elgin, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said lot, thence Southeasterly along the northerly line of said lot 39.62 feet for the point of beginning; thence South 4 degrees 25 minutes West along a joint concrete driveway 81.42 feet; thence North 85 degrees 35 minutes West 3 feet; thence South 4 degreees 25 minutes West along the center line and center line extended of a two car garage, 26.25 feet; thence South 85 degrees 35 minutes East 3 feet; thence South 4 degrees 25 minutes West 34.05 feet to a point in the South line of said lot which is 33.80 feet Easterly of the Southwest corner thereof; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said lot, 42.20 feet to the Southeast corner thereof; thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said lot 127.33 feet to the Northeast corner thereof; thence Northwesterly along the Northerly line of said lot, 37.80 feet to the point of beginning, in the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. be and is hereby granted.
