AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CERTAIN PARKING RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE
CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section I. That Title II, Chapter 11.36 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as
amended, be and is hereby further amended by deleting from the list of streets where
parking is prohibited under Section I I.36.050M the following:
Liberty Street, both sides thereof from Congdon Avenue to Slade
Avenue.
Liberty Street on both sides thereof from Slade Avenue to Summit
Street (Illinois Route 58) on Saturday all day, and from seven a.m. to
nine a.m. and three p.m. to six p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Liberty Street on both sides thereof from Summit Street (Illinois
Route 58) to Oakland Avenue and on the east side thereof from Oakland
Avenue to Grand Avenue.
Liberty Street on the west side thereof from Oakland Avenue to
r Grand Avenue on Saturday all day, and from seven a.m. to nine a.m. and
three p.m. to six p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Liberty Street on both sides thereof from Grand Avenue to Division
Street on Saturday all day, and from seven a.m. to nine a.m. and three p.m.
to six p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Liberty Street on both sides thereof from Division Street to Eastview
Street.
Liberty Street on both sides thereof from Eastview Street to Laurel
Street on Saturday all day, and from seven a.m. to nine a.m. and three p.m.
to six p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Liberty Street on the east side thereof from Laurel Street to
Margaret Place.
Liberty Street on the west side thereof from Laurel Street to
Margaret Place on Saturday all day, and from seveen am. to nine a.m. and
three p.m. to six p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Liberty Street on both sides thereof from Margaret Place to Bluff
City Boulevard.
North Liberty Street, west side, from Chester Avenue to Lincoln
Avenue.

Section 2. That Title 11, Chapter 11.36 of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as
amended, be and is hereby further amended by adding to the list of streets where parking
is prohibited under Section 11.36.050M the following:
Liberty Street, both sides, from Congdon Avenue to Bluff City
Boulevard.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after its
passage and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
