eb. AN ORDINANCE
REMOVING METERED PARKING ON DOUGLAS AVENUE, BOTH SIDES, FROM
KIMBALL STREET TO NORTH STREET, AND ESTABLISHING THIRTY-MINUTE
PARKING ZONE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 11.44 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, is hereby amended by deleting from the two-hour parking
zone under Section 11.44.120, the following:
Douglas Avenue, east and west side thereof, from Kimball
Street to North Street.
Section 2. That Title 11, Chapter 11.36 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, is hereby amended by adding to the list of thirty-minute
parking zones under Section 11.36.082 the following:
Douglas Avenue, both sides thereof, from Kimball Street
to North Street.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publication in the manner provided by law.
