AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELGIN
RELATING TO SPEED RESTRICTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 11.16.030(B) of Title 11.16 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by
deleting from the maximum speed limit of twenty-five miles per hour the
following:
Lawrence Avenue between N. State Street and Kimball
Street.
Kimball Street between N. State Street and Dundee
Avenue.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
