AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE FEES AND CHARGES FOR EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 2.40.260 of Chapter 2.40, entitled Fee--
Within corporate limits, of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended,
is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"2.40.260 Fee--Within corporate limits.
Persons receiving emergency ambulance service from the fire
department of the city within the corporate limits of the city
shall pay the sum of fifty dollars for said service."
Section 2. That Section 2.40.270 of Chapter 2.40, entitled Fee--
Outside corporate limits, of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended,
is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"2.40.270 Fee--Outside corporate limits.
Persons receiving emergency ambulance service from the fire
department of the city outside the corporate limits of the city
shall pay the sum of seventy-five dollars for said service."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
January 1, 1981.
