rm. AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE G36-79 GRANTING CERTAIN RIGHTS TO
ADT SECURITY SYSTEMS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
AN ALARM CONTROL SYSTEM
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 6 of Ordinance G36-79 passed May 9, 1979 be
and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 6. That ALT shall install and maintain equipment
approved by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. including the follow-
ing:
One (1) ADT 2016 Alarm Monitoring Board
One (1) Stand by power supply
No (2) DTC Mark IV Computer Systems
Two (2) Cathode Ray Tubes
One (1) 200 Character per second printer
One (1) 55 Character per second printer with word
processing capabilities"
Section 2. That Section 12 of Ordinance G36-79 passed May 9, 1979 be
and is hereby amended to read as follows:
emk "That ADT shall provide a basic Alarm Software Package, the
effect of these programs is to recall pertinent information about
each alarm customer. In addition, non-alarm customers will be
computerized. The total software effort will include:
1) Systems Analysis
2) Programming
3) Documentation
4) Operations Manuals
5) Training"
Section 3. That Section 13 of Ordinance G36-79 passed May 9, 1979 be
and is hereby repealed.
Section 4. That the ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law.
