AN ORDINANCE
REVISING THE LICENSES FOR CONCESSIONAIRES ON THE
FOUNTAIN SQUARE PLAZA MALL
WHEREAS, the Greater Downtown Elgin Commission has determined that
by revising the available licenses for concessionaires on the Fountain
Square Plaza Mall would promote the use of the mall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 6.46.050(B) of Chapter 6.46 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"B. There shall be two twelve-month licenses for the
sale of food products including non-alcoholic beverages."
Section 2. That Section 6.46.050(C) of Chapter 6.46 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"C. There shall be two twelve-month licenses for the
sale of non-food items."
Section 3. That Section 6.46.050(H) of Chapter 6.46 of the Elgin
rm. Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby repealed.
Section 4. That Section 6.46.060(A) of Chapter 6.46 of the Elgin
Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"A. For all twelve-month licenses the fee shall be
prepaid in monthly installments of $50.00 for the months
of April through October and $10.00 for all other months."
Section 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 6. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
