AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE G18-74 AUTHORIZING A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE G50-78
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance G18-74, passed on April 24, 1974 and
amended by G50-78, passed on June 28, 1978, be and is hereby further
amended by amending Section 2(9) to read as follows:
"9. That construction shall be completed no later than
April 24, 1984. Any extension of said time limit shall be
within the sole discretion of the City of Elgin and shall not
be granted unless work is shown to be progressing satisfactorily."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
ten days after its publication in pamphlet form by authority of the City
Council.
