AN ORDINANCE
RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON NORTH McLEAN BOULEVARD,
ELGIN, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, written application has been made to reclassify the follow-
ing properties: 590, 582 and 574 North McLean Boulevard from B-1,
Community Business District; and 552, 558 and 564 North McLean Boulevard
from R-2, Single Family Residence District, to 0-Limited Office District;
and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Committee has conducted a public hearing after
due notice and submitted its report and recommendations to the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations of the Land
Use Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Chapter 19.08, Section 19.08.020, entitled "Zoning
District Map" of the Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following paragraph:
"The boundaries hereinbefore laid out in the 'Zoning
011114 District Map' , as amended, be and are hereby altered by exclud-
ing from B-1, Community Business District, and including in
0-Limited Office District, the following described property:
Lots 5 and 6 of Block 1 of Illinois Park Second Addition,
Southwest Quarter, Section 10, Elgin Township, Kane County,
Illinois. (Commonly known as 590 North McLean Boulevard).
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 2 of Illinois Park Second Addition,
Southwest Quarter, Section 10, Elgin Township, Kane County,
Illinois. (Commonly known as 582 North McLean Boulevard).
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 1 of Illinois Park Addition,
Southwest Quarter, Section 10, Elgin Township, Kane County,
Illinois. (Commonly known as 574 North McLean Boulevard)."
Section 2. That Chapter 19.08, Section 19.08.020, entitled "Zoning

Lots 1 and 2 of Block 2 of Illinois Park Addition, Southwest
Quarter, Section 10, Elgin Township, Kane County, Illinois.
(Commonly known as 564 North McLean Boulevard) ."
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law and
shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
