AN ORDINANCE
eP- REDUCING THE S mF YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS
FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN ELGIN OAKS INDUSTRIAL PLAZA
WHEREAS, written application has been made to amend the setback
requirements of certain properties in Elgin Oaks Industrial Plaza as
established by Ordinances G-1299 and G-1414; and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Committee has conducted a public hearing
after due notice and submitted its report and recommendations to the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations of the
Land Use Committee and concurs in such recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Ordinances G-1299 and G-1414 be and are hereby
amended by reducing the required side yard requirements established in
said ordinances from 25 feet to 10 feet for the following described
territory:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13,
24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35 and 36 of the
North Elgin Industrial Plaza, being a subdivision of
part of the Southeast quarter of Section 33 and part of
eP- the Southwest quarter of Section 34, all in Township 42
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian in
the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days following its passage and publication in pamphlet form by authority
of the City Council.
