AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF LARKIN AVENUE AND LYLE AVENUE
IN THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 11.36 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, is hereby amended by adding to the designated places
where parking is prohibited under Section 11.36.050M the following:
Larkin Avenue (U.S. 20 B.R.), both sides, from 250 feet
west of the centerline of Lyle Avenue easterly to 250 feet
east of the centerline of Lyle Avenue.
Lyle Avenue, both sides, from 100 feet south of the
centerline of Larkin Avenue (U.S. 20 B.R.) northerly to
100 feet north of the centerline of Larkin Avenue (U.S. 20 B.R.).
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
