AN ORDINANCE
ADDING THE RECREATIONAL BUILDING TO THE SPECIAL USES PERMIT hD
IN THE M-1, LIMITED MANUFACTURING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, written application has been made to amend the list of
special uses permitted in the M-1, limited manufacturing district; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Planning Committee after
due notice in the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Committee has recommended that the Elgin zoning
ordinance be amended as requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs in the recommendation of the Planning
Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 19.38.020 of Chapter 19.38 of Title 19 of the
Elgin Municipal Code, 1976, as amended, be amended by adding the following:
"9. Recreational Building."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publication in pamphlet form by authority of the
City Council.
