AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELGIN
RELATING TO SPEED RESTRICTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 11.16 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, as amended, is hereby amended by adding to the streets designated as
having maximum speed limits of thirty-five (35) miles per hour under Sec-
tion 11.16.030C the following:
"Bode Road from East Chicago Street to the easterly corporate
limits of the City of Elgin, Illinois."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
