AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING BULK RATES FOR WATER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. Section 14.04.180 of Chapter 14 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
1976, be and is hereby amended by adding the following:
"C. Water furnished by the truckload shall be billed at
the following rates:
$5.00 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof for
the first 5,000 gallons
$3.00 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof over
5,000 gallons up to 10,000 gallons
$2.00 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof over
10,000 gallons"
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law.
