AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF ELGIN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 11.36 of the Elgin Municipal Code,
as amended, is hereby amended by adding to the designated places where
parking is prohibited under Section 11.36.050M the following:
Demmond Street, north side, from North Melrose Avenue
to McLean Boulevard, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and
9:00 p.m. , Monday through Friday, from May 1 to September 1.
North Melrose Avenue, east side, from Oakley Street to
Demmond Street, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ,
Monday through Friday, from May 1 to September 1.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
