AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE BOARD OF HEALTH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 3.32.020 of the Elgin Municipal Code, as
amended, be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Members of the Board shall be composed of one physician
licensed to practice medicine in Illinois; one dentist,
licensed to practice as such in Illinois; one registered
nurse and such other members as may otherwise be determined
by the City Council. The physician and dentist appointed to
the Board shall be engaged in active practice in the City."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage in the manner provided by law.
