AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING FOUR HOUR METERED PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF
SOUTH STATE STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 17-1212.1 of Article XII of Chapter 17 of
the Elgin City Code, be and is hereby amended by adding to the designated
list of four hour metered parking areas the following:
South State Street, west side, beginning 410 feet north
of the centerline of Locust Street, extending north 660 feet
north of the centerline of Locust Street.
Section 2. That Section 17-1007 of Article X of Chapter 17 of
the Elgin City Code, be and is hereby amended by deleting from the designated
list of two hour parking areas the following:
South State Street, west side, beginning 410 feet north
of the centerline of Locust Street, extending north 660 feet
north of the centerline of Locust Street.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance be and are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten
days after its passage in the manner provided by law.
