AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF GIFFORD ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Article X, Section 17-1003 of the Code of the City
of Elgin is hereby amended by adding to the designated places where park-
ing is prohibited under Subsection 17-1003-3.13 the following:
Gifford Road, west half, from the centerline of Bluff
City Boulevard southerly for a distance of 550 feet, and
both sides of Gifford Road from 550 feet south of the
centerline of Bluff City Boulevard southerly to Chicago,
Milwaukee, St. Paul $ Pacific Railroad.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
