AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING LIMITED PARKING AREAS ON THE NORTH SIDE
OP CHICAGO STREET FROM DOUGLAS AVENUE TO SPRING STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 17-1004 of Article X of Chapter 17 of the
Elgin City Code, as amended, is hereby amended by adding to the designated
places where parking is prohibited under Subsection 17-1003-3(c)13 the
following:
Chicago Street, north side, from Douglas Avenue to Spring
Street from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday,
and from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be
published in pamphlet from by authority of the City Council.
