AN ORDINANCE
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 341 SOUTH McLEAN BOULEVARD
IN THE CITY OF ELGIN
WHEREAS, written application has been made to reclassify certain
property at 341 South McLean Boulevard, Elgin, Illinois, from R-2,
Single Family Residence District, to B-3, Service Business District; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has submitted its recommendations to
the Zoning Board of Appeals and the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board held a public hearing after due notice
as required by law and has recommended approval of said application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Subsection b of Section 21-106, Chapter 21 of the
City Code of Elgin, Illinois, as amended, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding to it the following paragraph:
"That the boundaries hereinbefore described and laid
out in the 'Zoning District Map, ' as amended, be and are
eft hereby altered by including in the B-3, Service Business
District, and deleting from R-2, Single Family Residence
District, the following described premises:
Lot 18, Block 59 of South Washington Heights Addition to
the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois."
commonly known as 341 South McLean Boulevard.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage in the manner provided by law.
