AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CONDITIONS OF A SPECIAL USE FOR AN OPEN SALES LOT
AT 1103 DUNDEE AVENUE, ELGIN, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a written application has been filed to extend the duration
of the special use heretofore granted to permit an open sales lot at
1103 Dundee Avenue; and
WHEREAS, due notice has been given and a public hearing held in
accordance with the applicable statutes of the State of Illinois and the
provisions of the Elgin Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Elgin Plan Commission
have recommended that the petition be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Subsection 3.1 of Ordinance No. G-1587 passed on
May 23, 1973, be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"l. That the special use granted herein shall expire
at such time as the surrounding property shall be reclassified
in the manner provided by law."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
e'ft' from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
