AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING TRAFFIC ON RYERSON AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 17-805(c) of Article VIII of Chapter 17 of
the Elgin City Code, as amended, is hereby amended by deleting the follow-
ing from the list of streets and alleys in which traffic is permitted to
move only in a northerly direction:
Ryerson Avenue from Walnut Avenue to Washburn Street.
Section 2. That Section 17-1003(c)13 of Article X of Chapter 17 of
the Elgin City Code, as amended, is hereby amended by adding to the list
of designated places where parking is prohibited the following:
Ryerson Avenue, east side, from Walnut Avenue to
Washburn Street.
Section 3. That Section 17-1004 of Article X of Chapter 17 of the
Elgin City Code, is hereby amended to add to the list of streets and places
where limited parking is permitted the following:
Ryerson Avenue, west side, from Walnut Avenue to Washburn Street.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be effective
ten days after its publication in pamphlet form by authority of the City
Council.
