AN ORDINANCE
GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR A VETERINARY CLINIC
AT 1525 WEATHERSTONE LANE
WHEREAS, written application has been made to permit the construction
and maintenance of a veterinary clinic at 1525 Weatherstone Lane, Elgin,
Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the City of Elgin has submitted its
recommendations to the Zoning Board of Appeals and the City Council of the
City of Elgin; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public hearing
after due notice as required by state statute and the zoning ordinance of
the City of Elgin; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals have
recommended that the application be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That a special use be and is hereby granted to allow the
construction, establishment and maintenance of a veterinary clinic at
1525 Weatherstone Lane, Elgin, Kane County, Illinois, which property is
legally described as follows:
Lot 2, Martin's Boulevard Commercial Park, Elgin, Kane
County, Illinois.
Section 2. That the special use granted herein is subject to the
condition that no outside kennels be permitted and adequate soundproofing
materials are used in the construction of the facility.
