AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN BY AMENDING THE B.O.C.A
BASIC BUILDING CODE - 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 907 of Article 907 of Article IX entitled
"Fire Walls and Party Walls" is amended by redesignating said section as
Section 907.9.
Section 2. That Section 19-103 of Article I of Chapter 19 of the
City Code of Elgin is hereby amended by adding the following: Table 214
of Article II is amended by substituting the number "1" for "0" wherever
"0" appears in lines 7 and 10.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
