AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING LEFT TURNS AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 17-603 of Article VI of Chapter 17 of the
Elgin City Code, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"17-603. Prohibiting Left Turns. The driver of
any vehicle shall not make a left turn at the following
intersections: Eastbound on Lawrence Avenue turning
north onto North State Street (Illinois Route 31)"
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law and
shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
