G21-75 Ordinance No. G21-75 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT PET STORES AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE B-2, CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT WHEREAS, written application has been made to amend the Elgin Zoning Ordinance to establish pet stores as a permitted use in the B-2, Central Business District; and WHEREAS, said application has been reviewed by the Plan Commission which has made a report of its findings and recommendations to the City Council and to the Zoning Board of Appeals; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public hearing after due notice in accordance with the statutes of the State of Illinois and the Elgin Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has forwarded its findings and recommendations to the City Council and recommended amendment of the zoning ordinance in accordance with the application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That Subsection (2) entitled "PERMITTED USES" of Section 21-108C of the Elgin Zoning Ordinance, as amended, is hereby amended by deleting subparagraph "f Accessory Uses to the Above Permitted Uses" and adding the following: "f. Pet Shops. g. Accessory Uses to the Above Permitted Uses." Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.
