AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING SUBDIVISION INSPECTION FEES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 22.14 of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of
Elgin be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"22.14 Inspection at Subdividers Expense. All required
land improvements to be installed under the provisions of this
ordinance shall be inspected during the course of construction
by inspectors appointed by the City Manager; the cost of said
inspection shall be paid by the owner or subdivider of the land
at 1.50 times actual payroll costs for office work of said in-
spectors and 1.7 times actual payroll costs for field work per-
formed by said inspectors."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
