AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING 30 MINUTE METERED PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF
NORTH STATE STREET FROM CHICAGO STREET TO HIGHLAND AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 17-1210 of Article XII of Chapter 17 of the
Elgin City Code be and is hereby amended by adding to the designated list
of 30 minute metered parking areas the following: West side of North State
Street from Chicago Street to Highland Avenue.
Section 2. That Section 17-1212 of Article XII of Chapter 17 of the
Elgin City Code is hereby amended by deleting the following from the list
of two hour metered parking areas: West side of North State Street from
Chicago Street to Highland Avenue.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
