AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING LIMITED PARKING AREAS ON VAN STREET AND WORTH AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Section 17-1004 of Article X of Chapter 17 of the
Elgin City Code, as amended, is hereby amended by adding the following
paragraph:
"When signs are erected on each block giving notice
thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than
two hours during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on
Monday through Friday upon any of the streets hereinafter
set forth:
Van Street from Commonwealth to DuBois,
Worth Avenue from Chicago to Van Street."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication in the manner provided by law.
