AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ELGIN ZONING ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY
IN COLLEGE PARK SUBDIVISION, UNIT THREE.
WHEREAS a written application has been made to reclassify certain
property located in College Park Subdivision, Elgin, Illinois from R-2,
Single Family Residence District, to R-3, Two Family Residence District;

WHEREAS the Plan Commission has reviewed the application and forwarded
its report to the Zoning Board of Appeals and the City Council; and
WHEREAS the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public hearing
after due notice as provided by the statutes of the State of Illinois and
the Elgin Zoning Ordinance and has forwarded its findings and recommendations
to the City Council that the application be granted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Subsection B of Section 21-106 of Chapter 21 of the
City Code of Elgin, Illinois, as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following paragraph: The boundaries herein-
before laid out in the "Zoning District Map", as amended, be and are hereby
altered by excluding from R-2, Single Family Residence District, to R-3,
Two Family Residence District, the following described premises:
By Big Timber Corporation, 574 North McLean Boulevard,
Elgin, to Rezone from R-2, Single Family Residence District,
to R-3, Two Family Residence District, for the property legally
described as Lots 125, 126, 127, 128, and 129, Unit #3, College
Park Subdivision, City of Elgin, Illinois. (Commonly known as
496-520 Princeton Court.)
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published in
pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
