AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ARTICLE XII, CHAPTER 28, RELATING TO EQUIPMENT FOR SCAVENGER
VEHICLES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Subsection 28-1205(a) of Article XII of Chapter 28
of the City Code of Elgin be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a) Vehicles used for hauling garbage; human; animal
or vegetable refuse or offal shall be water tight body approved
by the City of Elgin Health Department."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by
law.
