AN ORDINANCE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JEFFERSON AVENUE WEST OF HIAWATHA DRIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Article X, Section 17-1003 of the Code of the City of
Elgin is hereby amended by adding to the designated places where parking is
prohibited under Subsection 17-1003-3.13 the following:
The north side of Jefferson Avenue from its intersection with
the westerly right of way with Hiawatha Drive, thence easterly for
a distance of 586 feet.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage in the manner provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
