AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL ONE-WAY STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Article II of Chapter 17 of the City Code of the City
of Elgin being the same hereby is amended by adding to the streets designated
under Subsection 17-203(b) on which traffic shall move only in an easterly
direction the following:
Page Avenue from Dundee Avenue to Liberty Street.
Section 2. That said Article is hereby further amended by adding to
the streets designated under Subsection 17- 4c) on which traffic shall
move only in a northerly direction the following:
Liberty Street from Page Avenue to Congdon Avenue.
Section 3. That said Article is hereby further amended by adding to
the streets designated under Subsection 17-A,4 d) on which traffic shall
move only in a southerly direction the fol '•w ng:
Dundee Avenue from Congdon Avenue to Page Avenue.
Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with any of the provisions of this ordinance be and the same hereby are
repealed and of no further force and effect.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published in pamphlet
form by authority of the City Council.
