AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE CITY CODE AS IT
PERTAINS TO WATER POLLUTION CONTROL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1. That Article IX of Chapter 18, as amended,
of the City Code of Elgin be, and the same hereby is, amended
to extend the time in which certain detergents in the City
of Elgin may be utilized from January 1, 1973 to June 30, 1973,
in the following manner, to-wit:
By deleting the words "December 31, 1972" contained
in Sub-paragraph (b) of Section 18-904 as heretofore
amended and inserting in place thereof the following:
"June 30, 1973 . "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be, and the same hereby are, repealed and
of no further force and effect.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
rift and after its passage as provided by law and shall be pub-
lished in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
