AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
ENTITLED, TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE, AS IT PERTAINS TO
STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1. That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin, be, and the same hereby is , amended by adding
to the streets designated under Section 17-1003 , on which
parking is prohibited, the following:
Dundee Avenue , on the East and West sides thereof,
commencing with its intersection with Slade Avenue
and continuing Northerly to its intersection with
Page Avenue .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be, and the same hereby are, repealed
and of no further force and effect.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective
from and after its passage as provided by law, and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
