F AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE CITY CODE AS IT
PERTAINS TO WATER POLLUTION CONTROL .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Section 18-901 of Chapter 18 of the
City Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended to
extend the time in which certain detergents in the City of
Elgin may be utilized from June 30 , 1972 to December 31 ,
1972 in the following manner , to-wit:
By deleting the words "June 30 , 1972" contained in
Sub-paragraph ( b) of Section 18-904 and inserting
in lieu thereof the following : "December 31 , 1972" .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of po further force and effect.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
