G-1520 Ordinance No . G-1520
AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
TO PROVIDE FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF CERTAIN METERED PARKING
AREAS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS .
Section 1 . That Article XII of Chapter 17 of the
City Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in
the following manner, to-wit:
( a) By deleting from the streets and areas designated
as thirty minute parking areas under Section 17-1210 ,
the following to-wit:
Twenty-two foot metered parking area on West side of
Villa Place , south of existing loading zone , South
of the intersection with East Chicago Street .
( b) By deleting from the streets and areas designated
as two hour parking areas under Section 17- 1212 , the
following, to-wit:
Metered space on East side of South Grove Avenue ,
at driveway at 165 S . Grove Avenue.
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and of no further
force and effect
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage as provided by law
and shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of the
City Council .
