AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL
30 MINUTE METERED PARKING" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article XII of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner , to-wit:
( a) By adding to the streets included in the 30 minute
metered parking area under Section 17- 1210 , the following ,
to-wit :
First metered space on South side of East Highland
Avenue , East of North Spring Street .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and of
no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
