Ordinance No . G-1509
AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED , TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , AS IT PERTAINS TO
STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN , ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended by
including in the streets designated under Section 17- 1003 ,
on which parking is prohibited , the following :
Villa Place on both sides thereof , between
Michigan Street and Villa Street.
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .

Resolution Adopted Expressing Appreciation to Lt. Charles Miller
as Actin: Police Chief
Mayor Rauschenberger read the resolution expressing appreciation to Lt. Charles Miller
as acting Police Chief in its entirety.
The City Manager expressed his personal appreciation to Lt. Miller and the Supervisors
of the Police Department for their fine work during the past trying times .
Councilman Santanni made a motion, seconded by Councilwoman Pearsaul to adopt the
resolution. Yeas : Councilmen Bruneman, Doxey, Landis , Pearsaul, Santanni, Tillery
and Mayor Rauschenberger. Nays: None. .
