AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, ENTITLED TRAFFIC
CONTROL ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO THE PRESCRIBED PATTERN OF PARKING
ALONG FAP ROUTE 23 (ILLINOIS ROUTE 31).
BE IT ORDIANED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City Code of Elgin,
be, and the same hereby is, amended by including in the streets designated
under Section 17-1003, on which parking is prohibited, the following:
North State Street (Ill. Route 31) on both sides thereof,
from 500 feet North of West River Road to 500 feet South
of West River Road;
West River Road on both sides thereof, from 150 feet West
of State Street to 150 feet East of State Street.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be, and the same hereby are, repealed and of no further force
and effect.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be effective from and
after its passage as provided by law and shall be published in
pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
