AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED, TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , AS IT PERTAINS TO
STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN , ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the ,City
Code of Elgin be, and the same hereby is , amended by
including in the streets designated under Section 17-1003 ,
on which parking is prohibited , the following :
Hilton Place , on both sides,;thereog
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect.
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shell be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Cbuncil .

Ordinance Passed Amending the Salary of the City Manager
Councilman Santanni made a motion, seconded by Councilman Tillery to pass an ordinance
amending the salary of the City Manager. Yeas: Councilmen Bruneman, Doxey, Landis,
Pearsaul, Santanni, Tillery and Mayor Rauschenberger. Nays: None.
The City Manager personally thanked the City Council and noted that. the 410 increase
in salary is identical to increases granted to all other city employees . Mr. Brunton
also thanked the Council on behalf of the city employees for the 1972 increases.
