AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, ENTITLED,
TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE, AS IT PERTAINS TO STREETS ON WHICH
PARKING IS PROHIBITED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City Code of
Elgin, be, and the same hereby is, amended by including in the
streets designated under Section 17-1003, on which parking is
prohibited, the following:
Jefferson Avenue on the North side thereof, from a
point 530 feet east of the centerline of Preston
Avenue to a point 1000 feet east of the center line
of Preston Avenue.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be, and the same hereby are, repealed and of no further
force and effect.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be effective from and
after its passage as provided by law and shall be published in
pamphlet form by authority of the City Council.
